Writing / Content / Communications / Creative

I’ve always struggled with the idea of putting everything I do into one portfolio. Writing, photography, content, social media, communications and everything in between somehow never seemed to fit together naturally.

So I stopped trying to make everything fit.

This is a collection of things I’ve made, shaped, written, photographed, managed and occasionally overthought. Think of it less as a traditional portfolio and more as a journal of how I work, think and create.

I realised that storytelling is the one thing connecting everything I do. Whether I’m writing, creating content, photographing a story, developing a concept or finding the right words, I’m always looking for ways to make an idea matter.

So, instead of another portfolio presenting projects from a distance, I decided to make something else. A journal.

A portfolio shows what I do.
A journal shows why.

STORIES, IN WHATEVER FORM THEY TAKE
Writing has always been the starting point. Whether it’s an interview, an editorial, a campaign concept, a social caption or a story built from scratch, I’m interested in finding the idea at the centre of it all and figuring out how to make it worth someone’s attention. Words are usually where I begin, but they’re rarely where the story ends.

Over the years, that curiosity has taken me into fashion, beauty, culture, media and marketing, working across editorial and commercial projects for publications, brands and creative teams. Sometimes I’m behind the words, sometimes behind the camera, sometimes somewhere in the middle, figuring things out as I go.

The medium changes; the intention doesn’t: tell a good story.

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING
  • My work sits somewhere between writing, content, communications and creative direction. I’ve written and edited stories, developed social content, photographed people and places, worked on campaigns, managed digital platforms, interviewed creatives and helped turn ideas into things that can actually exist outside a moodboard.

  • Rather than separating these disciplines too neatly, I see them as different tools in the same toolbox. A good story might need a sentence, a photograph, a Reel, a strategy or, occasionally, all four and several coffees. This is a collection of the work, experiments and collaborations that have shaped the way I create.
